  I’ve been grinding Whitetail on Layton Lakes since they came out on Xbox 1, followed every guide and video, I’m well over 15k kills in, I’m convinced great ones just don’t exist

  Great video Lady and JBiz! This is true, I can say from years of experience my grinds went from super long to way shorter when I started doing extreme herd management just a few months ago. Weight definitely matters. This is really exciting ❤

  I was grinding higher levels (5 to 9 no exceptions) then I saw this video and followed the guidance: shooting 6, 7 and 8’s, keeping 9 legendaries &nbsp;(11 stacked) and today finally I got my 1st GO

  Yea smaller weights have always been better for HM. I talked to jbiz about this as well &amp; talked about the fact that a lot of us have always known weight was a big factor. Its why i tried to only stack low weight estimate level 2 mule deer because the high weight ones were too big. I did the same back in the day with bear estimates. The only reason myself and many others always explain HM in levels is cause its typically easier for a new HM user to understand levels VS weights since those can be harder to decipher based on how the animal looks. I wouldn&apos;t say this is new info or a new method, but just info that we have known but didnt prioritize due to the extra level of complication it adds for a lot of players.

  I was into a Fallow grind for over two month now. two days ago i started to do hm on the entire map (Emerald Coast). No pick up tents and visited every! zone i had. And guess what i found just minutes ago... Finally the Great One Fallow Deer! It spawned in a riverside zone. I would never have looked there.

  At level 13 I found a G1 Red Deer when I was discovering a drink station for the first time.

  I think great ones are spawned from 3-4 max weight kills(mostly diamonds)within a specific time(100-119 mins?) between them. This is info I came up with from looking at the animals before and after the great ones in my trophy manager.
