I have observed that overkill happens due to very different reasons. In this case, his vindictive nature causes him to continue disfiguring the victim until the sight of her bad fortune, appears to be equal to or greater than, his bad fortune of late. It’s the visual that will eventually cause a state of satisfaction.
At this point in the timeline, the lessening of the criminal’s rage then allows him to feel ancillary emotions. For example, during the obsession prior to the murder, he had very strong emotions that ramped up his acting, “Out!”
He was not consciously aware of how utterly lonely his bad fortune has caused him to feel. He felt like he was the only person in the world suffering like he was. After the murder, for a little while, he didn’t feel alone in his suffering. After the murder he likely felt IN CONTROL. He would have certainly felt accomplished, for planning, executing, and getting away scot free, murder! That’s globally, VINDICATION, which points back to my original assessment of the trigger, his vindictive nature, and the need feel vindicated!
The ancillary emotions and feelings, only add to the, “conditioning,” or “training,” of his criminal mind. A criminal can’t, by himself, easily become, “self aware,” enough to RECOGNIZE the triggers and the, “training,” emotions, or rewards.
If a caregiver helps the criminal to understand the, “Triggers and trainers,” they will have changed his life, forever. It’ll take time, but they can’t help but grow up. Their criminal life should begin to turn, or if it doesn’t, then at the very least, they’ll slowly stop blaming others for their behavior.
Each and every case is different, but the kind of evil in this situation will always be predicated by an inability to cope. It may have different triggers, but it is always followed by mental conditioning, or the emotional “brainwashing,” of oneself. This is accomplished by the rewarding feelings right after the grievous act. TRIGGERS and TRAINERS. T-N-T. That’s often how a serial criminal is molded.

The fiend got a year for murdering the taxi driver?! Why? Those senior women deserved better at the end of their days. They should have been safe in their own homes.

Omg these so called experts has made an unconfirmed excused for the evil monsters for murdering these ladies. To say he was upset with his girlfriend leaving him, in know way shape or form could you justified what he done as because of what he was allegedly going through.

These people don’t recognize that the murderer is merely , “Acting OUT! Yes, the very same behavior as adolescents, only by a vindictive man with his strengths and talents!

Again stop minimising rape...both speakers said he probably raped her..Well he did knew he did but these documentaries tries to not mention rape but are fine to mention murder or torture.

This guy definitely murdered other people somewhere else, the excuses are shameful, one saying his childhood, another says it triggers him when his girlfriends boots him out. Well his first murder he didnt have a gf but still murdered someone. So please stop justification with no evidence indicating that excuse. The fact that they are also saying the police wasn't sure of his motive, i know, it was rape. But you can not make a assignment on why he did the crime if you don't even know his motive.

Police struggle to find a motive ? You kidding me the poor old lady in the home was raped try that as a motive.
