What an amazing documentary. No ridiculous dramatic music and scary sound effects and heart beats etc. The presentation is straightforward, simple, well acted (considering there are a lot of people playing themselves) and very well directed. Keep It Simple Stupid.

This is one of the best British “true crime” series of all time, in my opinion.

I wish they would bring this show back or start making another one like it. No over hyping or voice over giving out details, just reconstructing the original crimes and events leading up to and afterwards. And not focusing on the criminals but the investigation and victims etc... I’m sick of all these over the top crime shows!

Love these investigations. No over the top sirens, yahooing dramatic garbage actions, just quietly respectful recreations of the crimes.

Sad that someone who helped cover up the murder of someone only gets 18 months, so out in one year, no wonder they say life is cheap.

Personally, I really like how these old shows reconstructed the course of a criminal investigation.

Good old fashioned police work, well done gents.
What beautiful diction the majority of people spoke with only 35 yrs ago.

I live in Australia and never heard of Crimewatch File. I just stumbled on this show - it is absolutely brilliant ! I thought that the camera was just following the real investigation; I only realised at the end that some of the people were actors and pretty good ones too. Delighted to discover that it's a series. The Brits really know how to produce quality stuff like this. Subscribed. Thank you very much.

When they start to say, "God is my witness," you know they're guilty as hell.
