I think Antman is under rated as an MCU movie. IMO it's better than most.

One of the things I like about this movie is that Paxton and Maggie act as minor antagonists for Scott, but they're not portrayed as being bad guys or being in the wrong. They have legitimate reasons for being upset with Scott and for not wanting to just let him off the hook, but they're not petty about it or anything, and they're actually pretty reasonable about things. It would have been very easy to write those characters as the vindictive ex and her jerk new guy who do everything they can to screw Scott over and won't give him a chance, but instead even though they cause problems for Scott they're written as good people dealing with a difficult situation, and they do give him a chance.

Funfact: 16:34 The man in the car is Garrett Morris. "Garrett Morris was the first person to portray Hank Pym/Ant-Man in live-action. He played the character in a Saturday Night Live skit called "Superhero Party""

54:29 That's Edgar Wright for ya. Genius level storyteller that was a perfect fit for Ant-Man. It's a shame that Disney and Wright didn't see eye-to-eye and this was his only contribution to the MCU.

I think the little girl who plays Cassie, Abby Ryder Fortson, was such an amazing piece of casting! She did so good for being so young.

Of MCU's movies about all the different Avengers, Ant-Man is the comedy relief. It has the same action/adventure stuff, but with more humor than the others.

Abby Ryder Fortson as Cassie was so cute. it's weird to see her now at 17.
