  If you have a chance to pour a slab floor in the future, you actually want between the walls and the slab polystyrene in the form of XPS. This lets the slab expanding contract without any risk to the wall, and it also provides thermal insulation between the wall and the slab, so the slab can connect as a thermal mass in order to regulate the temperature inside the structure.<br><br>This isn’t something most people think about, and given that you have compacted cement under your slab, and your compact cement is in contact with the walls, you’re probably going to get away fine with the two mil doubled up, but you did risk a crack on the Wallet some point in the future potentially.

  Yeah... they do make Plywood board specifically for Concrete forms. Has a fancy slick coating on it and doesn&apos;t get &quot;as&quot; destroyed as plain board.<br>Side use for this type of board is heavy duty shelving. The coating that helps pop the board off the concrete makes it really easy to slide boxes on and off.
