A Witch Doctor from Ghana said he cursed Harry Kane before yesterday's match. The match ended in a surprising 0-0 draw. What are we thinking?

Brazil's "curse" is bad, but Italy's is the worst

Brazil's curse shall be lifted this year. They will NOT be knocked out by a European team. Japan will knock them out.

Italy's curse apparently happened from Zidane after he got that red card from his headbutt

Btw if not for the World Cup expansion to 48 teams, Brazil would have had to qualify via intercontinental playoffs. Imagine that.

You missed a crucial detail about Mexico. Yes they’ve reached the Quarterfinals twice before BUT back in 1970 there was no Round of 16 because it was just 16 teams meaning they only played 4 matches. In other words Mexico has only ever reached that fabled 5th game once, in 1986.

And in 2026 of we do reach the 5th game it shouldn’t count because that’d mean we’d be back at the R16. Now we need the 6th game to reach our previous highest point in a World Cup: the quarterfinals.

The Dutch gave us some of the most beautiful football in total football era for sure, and also some of the ugliest football in 2010
