What do you mean you didn’t like the 50th remake of John Carpenter’s The Thing if it was written by someone with severe head trauma?

Playing this game reminds me of this old tweet.<br><br>"My neighbor told me coyotes keep eating his outdoor cats so I asked how many cats he has and he said he just goes to the shelter and gets a new cat afterwards so I said it sounds like he's just feeding shelter cats to coyotes and then his daughter started crying."<br><br>Just replace Coyote with alien, cats with Cassiopeia, and shelter with cloning machine.

With each passing Supermassive game, the more convinced I am Until Dawn was a fluke

Multiple ships was cool for the amount of seconds it took you to realise how insanely, stupidly, WASTEFUL the whole thing was.

I can never stand this trope when a shapeshifting monster can just go into its default “evil big flesh thing that can kill anything” but doesn’t for no reason. Literally the easiest and most interesting answer, that this game never entertains, would be that the creature <i>likes</i> to torment and confuse the passengers. That it has the same capacity to perform unnecessary violence like some animals (ex, apes or humans) do. It would’ve also given the researchers a more compelling reason for throwing dozens of clone people at them

Man of Medan made the "Don't trust your friends" concept much better

Maybe the legless Anders means that the whole game takes place in the Metaverse. The horror.

To paraphrase Yhatzee "Supermassive Games don't release new games in the The Dark Anthology series, they carry out threats of releasing new games in The Dark Anthology series".

Another thing to clarify. The government made sure the creature shouldnt be able to get to earth. The ships were never given enough fuel to get to the planet and back.<br><br>They also were trying to figure out a way to control the goop so it could create infinite resources

Personally my favorite part of the game is the room with the giant gold head in it. You know, the room all spaceships should have.
