  Two weeks ago, I was sexually harrassed for over two hours by a man I thought was my friend. He was drunk, I couldn’t leave, I couldn’t run, despite having a panic attack throughout it, being unable to walk from the trembling in my legs… I had to protect a younger girl in our group from him. I did not even realize how broken I felt until the next morning…<br><br>And the longer I am away from him, the more I see how he was grooming me for the whole year we knew one another. Sexual &nbsp;comments disguised as jokes, making it seem like it was “just his humour”pushing boundaries slowly enough that I couldn’t see it. Building me up, making me feel special and important… but under all that charm he treated me like an object and I was a butt to his jokes… a distraction… he saw me as a kind and sweet girl and some magical girl that could save him and his pain. <br><br>Being a woman is so much more than just makeup, jewelry and the pressure to be perfect. It&apos;s an allyship you are born into and must protect. Listen to your gut, its the women before us trying to keep us safe. ❤

  Don&apos;t be skinny, don&apos;t be fat, don&apos;t be muscular to hurt the ego of others, don&apos;t be smart, don&apos;t be dumb, don&apos;t be a showoff, but don&apos;t be shy. Eat healthy, but allow yourself a burger, read books, be obsessed with video games and have knowledge about cars, but also be helpless so the man has something to do. Be strong, be weak, be a single mom while being a loving mother and wife. As a woman, you&apos;re told to be everything at once or you&apos;re nothing.
