  It cannot be overstated how big of a jump it was from San Andreas to GTA IV. I remember this game looked like real life to me when it came out.

  17 years. That&apos;s how old this game is, and Rockstar still hasn&apos;t done anything for GTA IV&apos;s 10th anniversary. Never forget.

  Since Rockstar uses the all hands on deck approach:<br><br>GTA 6 has a 7 year (assuming it hits the target release date) development cycle since it only entered full development after RDR2 in 2019.<br>RDR2 had a 5 year development cycle because it entered full development after 2013<br>GTA 5 had a 3.5+ year development cycle, it properly entered development after RDR1&apos;s release in 2010<br><br>and GTA IV had a 3.5 year development cycle.<br><br>Kinda mind boggling that GTA IV achieved so much back in 2008 with less developers than every game that came after it.

  Being in high school during the PS3/360 era is something I will never take for granted. Countless nights going through websites and forums talking about the newest releases. Experiencing classic games like GTA IV, Assassin’s Creed, Bioshock, classic COD, The Orange Box, Dead Space, Gears of War, Halo 3, Rainbow Six Vegas, Mass Effect, etc with family and friends from school. Simply no better time to be a teenager.

  GTA IV is a special game. The world is so atmospheric. Just drive at night when it&apos;s raining. It feels like something straight out of a dark and gritty 70s movie. Sometimes I think the rockstar doesn&apos;t even realize what they&apos;ve achieved.
