I&apos;m gonna go record the podcast now.<br><br>EDIT: my favorite things you guys have corrected me on so far:<br><br>1- The airport in GTA <b>might</b> have been based on Meigs Airport, which is a now-demolished airport in the Chicago area. The story of how it got shut down is really fascinating. I don&apos;t honestly see the influence other than the one skinny runway going out into the ocean, but someone down below says they knew a developer of the game and heard that this was true. <br>2- That &quot;airplane graveyard&quot; in GTA5 is actually a training area for the firefighters to practice emergencies.<br>3- There are actually at least three airports with multiple control towers in the world! Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O&apos;Hare, and Hong Kong International. Some others like LAX have one-and-a-half towers, and others like Las Vegas have &quot;backup towers&quot; that aren&apos;t used often anymore. Google also says Atlanta has more than one but I couldn&apos;t quickly find a source on that. So it&apos;s rare, but not unheard of.<br>4- GTA3 game out in 2002, not 2003 as I said in the video.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxHBa3cseGA&amp;t=1858">30:58</a>, That&apos;s not a plane graveyard, that&apos;s a training plane for the firefighters. Many airports have these so firefighters can practice extinguishing a plane on fire. Often they have flammable gas lines hooked up to them so they can ignite it whenever needed.

  I don&apos;t understand how you can say that the runways in GTA4 are all wrong, when they clearly state on the runways themselves that they&apos;re all right.
