Just a comment on radish .. if you do let a few go to flower, they produce seed pods that are also delicious. Think sugar snap peas with a peppery kick. So don't stress if you miss a few radish when they are ready.

This is exactly what I needed! I’m a bit late starting my garden this year so these fast-growing crops are perfect. Never thought about planting Radishes or Tatsoi like this. Thanks for the tips, definitely trying these! 👍

I'm a crap gardener. Some people have the touch but not me. So anything that will mature in 30 days...gives me less time to kill it. Going to try again. Like a moth to the flame.

A note on the radishes. All parts of the radish are edible. If they do bolt, leave them alone because the seed pods are edible and contain the same nutrition as the bulbs. I can't speak to all varieties, but cherry bells will produce way more weight in seed pods than you will ever get from bulbs. If you allow a few pods to mature until they are brown and dry you will have free seeds for the next season.

You could also add sprouts to this list like alfalfa mung bean, and lentils sprouts. All that’s needed is water seed and air!
