  I like your statement being thankful for your roof over your head, electricity, three meals a day. It&apos;s those daily routines we take for granted. There isn&apos;t a better feeling than feeling safe and appreciative and knowing you&apos;re in a warm bed after a productive day. I&apos;m quite a bit older than you and to see someone as young as you having your priorities straight and being responsible at such a young age is refreshing.   Cooking takes time to learn. When I married my husband I couldn&apos;t even boil an egg in a pan of water on the cooktop. On our honeymoon I even ended up making a taco pizza out of a frozen pizza by trying to just get it out of the oven. I finally told myself that I have 4 college degrees so how hard can reading a recipe be. I set a goal of learning hiw to make spaghetti first. OK I cheated a little I bought jarred sauce instead of making it my self but at least we could eat what I cooked. Today I enjoy cooking and am now experimenting with Japanese dishes. So far can do some noodle dishes and I can roll an egg omelet. Thats progress! Keep on working on your cooking skills you&apos;ll find ways to make your dishes your iwn which is all the good chefs do. 😊
