  I have maintained for years that a lot of gold is simply put back into the environment because of this super fine disposal.  When I first noticed this, I bought a pair of jeweler's visor which I then use when panning.  It is amazing to watch this fine gold in a pan.  After I then noticed that much of it then accumulates within the water, I simply let five gallon buckets of this water sit overnight and then carefully poured off the excess water in the mornings.  The remaining silt at the bottom almost always had lots of micro-fine gold which I began to accumulate.  This can eventually amount to enough to make it well worth one's time to save and then process.  Gold is gold and it really does not care whether it is in tiny microscopic pieces or nuggets.  Haste makes waste, and we really do not want to later have to accuse ourselves of wasting anything quite that valuable.  Excellent Video!

  after watching this I went to my blue bowl and took the filter apart as I noticed it was slowing the water flow and paned it and I couldn't believe my eyes. your videos are outstanding. thank you

  God this is depressing, To think I have thrown out 1000s of buckets of water over the years thinking I've caught all the gold and I have been throwing some of it out.  I will be trying out this method from here on.  Thanks for sharing.  👍

  Thats a good idea! Ive use felt at the bottom of sluice flare out some, the felt actually started turning gold color. We use mercury through a tumbler, then use a retort buy or make and save most of the mercury. Thanks for the tip!

  I&apos;ve had great luck with synthetic cloth filters. &nbsp;Black curtain materials from craft stores are awesome. &nbsp;<br><br>Most are sorted by mesh/thickness so it really opens up options for different dust sizes. &nbsp;Cheers!

  Great Demonstration!<br>Moved to Australia when I was 5. Lived in Adelaide till 12. Love anything Australian, so always enjoy watching folks Down Under with similar hobby as mine.<br>Now in Montana, and i prospect the Yellowstone River. LOTS of flour gold!
