  They seemed so perfect together. 😅 This was more than just a movie.  One of the greatest productions,  cast, plot and scenery. How could any man not feel something for her. What an iconic pair.❤

  Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer were two  good friends for life.  It was love based on understanding and a quiet companionship held with respect and love for each other which stood the test of time.❤

  This feels more like a tale—those quotes are nowhere to be found.<br>Still, I remember an interview after his passing, when Julie was asked what she remembered most about The Sound of Music. She chose to speak about working with the wonderful Christopher. Her voice carried deep emotion.<br>Fans can feel that bond—not only in the film, but in every interview they shared.<br>They each had long, happy marriages and always honored that.<br>- Two people full of both love and integrity.

  Very accurate insight, thank you. He showed his feelings in the 40th anniversary of Sound of Music, he said &apos;they fall in love and that it was not hard to fall in love with her. He also said that whenever she was not with him he missed her. And in the Oprah interview he said that Julie just had a child and he had to keep at arms length away from her...

  I was 8 when I watched their SOM film for the first time in 1965, then whenever the occasion permits, I could easily rewatch it over and over again in my spare time. You don&apos;t get tired seeing a classic.

  A beautiful story. &nbsp;Only they will ever know exactly how they felt about one another. The point is that this type of long lasting friendship is just as precious as romantic love. &nbsp;They absolutely respected and protected one another. Mutual trust would be needed to produce one of the most beautiful love scenes I have ever seen. &nbsp;So gentle and romantic!!

  Like always when I watch one like this, I want to believe it is true. I know what was quoted about Plummer&apos;s memoir is not right. I have read it. I just wish the interviews cited had been edited in so I could hear it too. I do however think they had a beautiful friendship. I think the picture he has of her at his home that is in an interview I have seen on Tik Tok says a lot.
