  Moved to Parkville 11 years ago and I haven’t regretted it! There are a lot of great neighborhoods in KC, but I love the different feel here.

  Grew up in a suburb called Hickman mills. In South k.c. Was great growing up. It&apos;s now a trash heap filled with crime now.

  He keeps talking about Overland Park like it&apos;s inexpensive. &nbsp;I ended up moving way out of town just to be able to afford the housing. &nbsp;My house (I bought for 200K 10 years ago) would have cost 400K in Overland Park and at least twice as much now.

  Parkville = flooding from the Missouri River. Happened several times since 1993 Great Flood. Look it up.

  Kyle i like your videos, you still need to know the difference between a city and neighborhood unless it was a mistake. The north leawood schools are Shawnee mission and the south leawood schools are bluevalley

  Lee&apos;s Summit is pretty great, I&apos;m in an apartment on the south-side, but I&apos;m <b>still</b> within walking distance of a buncha stuff (the only issue is getting around the highway, which adds 10 minutes). &nbsp;I can get to downtown in, like, 20&apos;ish minutes, it&apos;s great!

  All this talk and one thing in common with most comments is that most people in the area are happy with where they are living, maybe because we are generally happy here in the midwest. My one place spells Fair-Way.

  When we were in process of relocating from out of state we considered Waldo, PV, OVP and even the Legends area. We found a fantastic deal on a home in Briarcliff. It was 30% more home, very well built and just 8 minutes to downtown with access to multiple hiways.

  People pay more to live in Kansas for a reason.I &nbsp;feel as though a massive point should&apos;ve be made about which communities are in Kansas and which are in Missouri. Yeah, Brookside is cool, But you have to replace your car windows each month after the incredibly common break ins. Parkville has some scenery and shops, but you&apos;re surrounded by methy areas on all sides.

  him and I fundamentally have a different view of what &quot;old money&quot; means. There is no &quot;Old Money&quot; in JOCO from my POV. The real old money is on Ward Parkway. That&apos;s turn of the century built to last mansions.
