  When I was deployed to Bosnia Lucas sent a copy of this film for the troops to see a week before it came out. It was an amazing gesture and a memory I’ll always treasure.

  A thing to note about Jake Lloyd.<br><br>Him not returning to act in Star Wars wasn&apos;t because he was bullied for playing Anakin in TPM, the poor kid has been suffering from schizophrenia (which has sadly been running in his family), but thankfully recently he&apos;s been getting better.<br><br>And funnily enough, contrary to what a lot of people think, Jake Lloyd is actually a big fan of Star Wars.

  The theme music and the saber battle &nbsp;between qui gon obi wan and darth maul made the movie worth it

  I totally agree, we can hate jar jar as a character without giving the actor any shit for doing his job. The two things aren&apos;t mutually exclusive

  The Phantom Menace really works when taken with the other two movies in the prequel trilogy. It&apos;s not the greatest Standalone movie but it works to set up attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith
