Did anyone else catch the Mandela affect. The movie said life WAS and the narrator said Life IS. We all knew he said Life IS

Very nicely done, AI or not. Forrest Gump is one of my top five movies of all time. I never tire of watching it. When I'm channel surfing, if it appears, I instantly stop and watch it until the end. My father loved it, not least because he graduated from the U. of Alabama and Forrest plays football for Bear Bryant.

That's NOT how the voice of Forrest Gump came about. The original idea was for the boy to learn to speak like Forrest, or someone from Alabama (which is a very different accent from Mississippi) but when he heard the child talk, he decided that he liked that accent, and instead HE learned to speak the way the child did. He recorded audio when they talked and learned to imitate his accent and his mannerisms.
