  I took a Colombian girl to breakfast one time. Steak and eggs and a huge breakfast burrito. She said, "I see why Americans are so fat now! Your food is amazing!" -- Have you ever gotten a backhanded compliment? 😆

  Please for anyone who isn&apos;t from the US, ASK FOR A TO GO BOX! &nbsp; <br>You dont have to eat everything in one go AND &nbsp;you dont need to waste food.

  When we were traveling in our RV we would stop at Cracker Barrell sometimes since they provided RV parking. You could stay overnight with the managers permission in some places. <br>When traveling thru Tennessee we arrived one night after the store closed. We were tired and thought we would chance it. Next morning about 7:00 Am there was knock on our RV door. I thought it was the police rousting us but instead it was the Cracker Barrell manager with a pot of coffee and two menu&apos;s.   When we drive to Ft. Myers Florida from Ohio we have our Buccees and Cracker Barrels mapped out for quality down home Grandma hugs food... no rush, no airs, no fancy pants, just good family vibes!! Safe travels kids!

  The pork chops are brined and can be cut with a spoon. I also get the blackened catfish when I&apos;m in the mood.

  Ask the waitress for a take-home box for the leftovers--never let the good stuff go to waste. &nbsp;Makes a great snack later after a night out!

  Not used to people who eat fried chicken with a fork . Normally we use our hands the same with spare ribs .

  “Chicken fried” is a process of cooking. You can also order “chicken fried steak” <br>Cracker Barrel is a national restaurant chain and is just the best! It’s reminiscent of the old time General Mercantile Store in the late 1800s. They literally used to sell old fashioned soda crackers in an old barrel to keep them dry and fresh.
