  It's crazy that Barry was the oldest Gibb brother and he's the only one left. He's 78 now. Robin died at 62, Maurice at 53 and Andy passed just five days after he turned 30. That's entirely too much tragedy.

  This song is my earliest  memory.  Literally my 1st  memory, I was 3 years old. I don't know how or why but I remember it like it was yesterday 😢

  Robin's son, Robin John Gibb, said  "When he passed away we went out, they took the equipment away and we came back in, I picked up my phone and found "I Started a Joke" on YouTube and played it. I put the phone on his chest and that was the first time I broke down. I knew that song and its lyrics were perfect for that moment. That song will always have new meaning to me now."

  I’m with Amber on this. Early Bee Gees is the best. This is my absolute favourite Bee Gees song. For me, Robin has the best voice out of all of them. The tone, the vibrato….you can feel the emotion just pouring out. Just incredible

  Okay, I've been waiting for you all to realize this. Robin makes the BeeGees what it is. You cannot have the BeeGees sound without Robin at all. The timber and purity of his voice is crazy.  He was always overshadowed by Barry, which is why Robin and Barry struggled a lot in their relationship. I think Robin had resentment. I grew up listening to the BeeGees and I will tell you that they were played in my house from the very beginning and through the disco phase.  My parents loved them throughout. My mom is 78 and she still listens to the BeeGees all the time.  It makes her feel better when she's down. Do not sleep on Robin.
