  the good thing about the rockler flattening jig is that once you&apos;ve seen one and have a good inkling as to how it&apos;s made you can make your own (even a large one) for a reasonable price using linear rails.

  I have been a woodworker for 30+ years. I still don’t understand using a push stick on a 6” wide or wider board looks more dangerous than pushing it with your hand

  The Rockler board jig is an amazing idea. &nbsp;I&apos;ve been saving up for a 13&quot; planer, but this could actually be superior for my needs.
