  What I love about your videos is not only you give details about how acting works, but also being respectful to the actors you&apos;re commenting on, whether they&apos;re newcomers or pros. I&apos;m not an actor, but I&apos;m a writer. Your breakdowns on acting and characters helped me on writing. Thank you!

  To me marriage story is 5 stars. In that context, with those feelings, it is the most natural approach. That&apos;s why it is so perfect, so organic, you forget that you are watching a movie, especially with Adam&apos;s acting.

  Cinematography, writing, directing, and editing also plays a huge role in performances. Great actors can still manage to be great in bad films but it’s only so much they can do to elevate things

  Tommy!!! 🤣<br>Greg Sestero wrote a wonderful book about that whole movie, The Room. That whole shoot was insane. I&apos;m pretty sure Wiseau is an extraterrestrial.

  It’s really nice to see people get technical about the work they’re most familiar with. When I’m working, I feel like I can get the tunnel vision and lose sight of that. Acting, audio and video, just the stagehand stuff, it doesn’t really matter.<br><br>Does anyone else feel like it’s so difficult to be technical in the moment? When we try to go with the flow, sometimes we get lost in the moment and find ourselves tunnel visioned. I think in particular with acting that this is true, I often have to stop and look at myself, which is an exercise in itself.
