I could hardly believe my ears when I heard the prices of some of these woods- which I either possess, or have possessed and worked with in the past. <br>However, what we have to understand is that man-given values can fluctuate drastically from sudden inflation to plunder, and even collapse- for such is the instability of man.<br>What is sold as timber today makes me want to vomit- literally. When you have handled some of the most beautiful timbers on the planet, and you are served CRAP wood, it breaks your heart. <br>But this is a very reserved field; it takes decades to learn how to distinguish these marvels, ans one can sometime make mistakes.<br>I now fully realis just HOW lucky I was to be able to discover and work with these rare woods.<br>All of this will never happen again in humanity. Gone forever.
