The Classico has always been a rivalry. It goes far beyond football. Barca being from Catalunya region and Real being from the capital city. There is a lot of politics behind their matches. Catalon people dont see themselves as part of Spain and them playing against a team from the capital city of Spain always comes with tension.

1:25 Its 90% about culture and connection if youre in europe. You support the teams from your local area/ city. But theres also a lot of crossover, for example im from belfast and if youre irish generally you'll support celtic because theyre basically the irish team of europe and liverpool because liverpool is kind of a sister city to belfast, lots of irish immigrants. Thats why liverpool and celtic both sing the fields of athenry which is like the most famous irish song. But then some in my family also have a strong connection to barcelona because the catalans have a history of oppression similar to ours and their political parties have drawn direct inspiration from irish rebels and political parties. Also from experience people in catalonia spain love us irish, while theyre not so happy with the british tourists haha. Also in turkey some people have a connection to the irish struggles too, ive been in bars where everyone was singing irish rebel songs and was amazed they knew the lyrics. If you dont have the cultural connection though then just watch whatever teams you like the most.

The Best Real Madrid Team I've ever seen is the second year of Mourinho in Real Madrid. That team crushed its opponents like flies and Cristiano Ronaldo had scored 24 goals in just 10 games, he was a unstoppable beast.

That was a miracle that that team hadn't won the Champions League🤯🤯🤯

I always will attribute Mourinho instilling that winning mentality on the core of that Madrid to the 4 champions League in 5 year that Madrid won with Ancelotti and Zidane, these players became animals of competition with Mou and it carried even after he left

8:00 Pretty well known story, actually. Mourinho prepared PowerPoint and everything. Johan Cruyff intervened.
It is from that period (2009-2012) also comes famous Johan Cruyff phrase: "Mourinho is a coach of trophies, not a coach of football"

4:18 He meant to say segunda b division and not segunda "segunda b = 3rd tier / segunda = 2nd tier", cuz alcorcon that year was playing in the 3rd tier of spanish football and whooped madrid butt 4-0 in round of 32 of copa del rey

12:56 That's what you get by playing a high-line defense with slow defenders. Your fast paced defenders' abscene can not be overstated.
