Appreciate you want the machine to be as near to almost new again. However I like that you are sensibly intending to attempt a partial restoration.<br><br>Preserving the original cosmetics, paint etc seams so much better when just sympathetically cleaned and not repainted. Preserved!<br><br>Restoring mechanical parts, exhaust coating, replating is understandable and of course consumables is definitely the way to go.<br><br>But original wheel paint is precious as well. I just love originality!<br><br>Like archeology I guess. Patina!<br>Fantastic the fairings are mint as repainting the originals means the original decals are lost forever.<br><br>But it’s not me so enjoy yourself! 😊<br><br>ATB
