  I love how a game about ancient vampire aliens is more coherent that a story about a man coping with his past trauma or a group of friends visiting an abandoned ship

  Salim is pretty much the MVP of this whole game as while everyone is using guns, Salim is poking these alien bat creatures with a metal stick which is why this is the best game in the series and not in “all in le head” :_rtgameLUL:

  I noticed Supermassive keep trying to bring back a narrator character in their games since Until Dawn had one, but the twist was Dr. Hill wasn&apos;t actually talking to the player.<br><br>He was a manifestation of Josh&apos;s guilt who was likely based on his real pherapy sessions. It had a purpose in the story relating to Josh&apos;s character and he actually added to the horror by taking advantage of the player choices and becoming more agressive every time you saw him again.<br><br>But now they&apos;re just here to be here without actually serving the narrative.

  How does 5.56 full metal jacket not go trough the vampires skin from point blank range but Salim can stake with them with nothing but the power of a middle eastern father and moral high ground.

  Aw, the highlights cut out the other half of Jason&apos;s deposition at the end of the game. <br><br><br><br>The part where he furiously defends Salim to the interviewer, and says he&apos;s a better man and more of a comrade than any of the CIA spooks in that tent. <br>&quot;That man is worth five of you. Semper <b>fucking</b> fi.&quot;<br><br>It was a very sweet line and it&apos;s a shame it didn&apos;t make it in.

  My favourite part of this is the falling premonition.<br>Both of them obsessed so hard over the smaller details of rope and falling that they totally missed the larger idea of &quot;If you both fall, one will die&quot; so that when it did happen, they screwed it up and got punished for it. I love it so much, hell, I imagine that&apos;s how it&apos;d go if anyone got a premonition.
