Take the roof rack off if all it carries is the Starlink antenna. You can mount that on the tent for example.<br>Also take the stock Rubicon sliders off and only keep the aftermarket ones.

FINALLY, a major YouTube Overlander addressing the Taboo subject of weight! THANK YOU!!! Love it!!! Every ounce adds up.<br>- Lose almost anything minor you've never used, or haven't used in at least a year, seriously.<br>- For heaven's sake, lose the factory rock sliders if the others will do at all.<br>- Replace the jack base with a chunk of 1x6 or 1x8<br>- Replace 12 ton bottle jack with 6 ton<br>- Remove the back seat<br>- Remove the seat deletes and put things in interlocking plastic tubs or <b>maybe</b> make skeleton shelves out of 2x2 framework for tubs to sit on<br>- Consider replacing the drawer with long plastic tubs<br>- Keep no more than 2 D-rings<br>- Test on a weekend running with only 1 house battery, see if it's enough power<br>- Carry a 3/8 impact wrench with 1/2" adapter instead of the bigger and heavier 1/2" impact wrench

You don’t need to lose as much weight as you need to get it organized. I say this with a grin because I’m in a constant battle with it myself. lol<br>Great video

I cut out the suitcase muffler and moved the rear resonator in its place to dump in front of the axle. That shaved some weight and gave me more clearance underneath when I wheel. The exhaust note is great and doesn’t resonate in the cab.
