  CLARKE IT -<br><br>edit: This was a response to another comment but I want to expand on the &quot;White Women Tears&quot; topic because it&apos;s turned into a semantics argument that distracts from the main point. A lot of non black people struggle with understanding that &quot;White women tears&quot; is a term used to explain a phenomenon about the weaponization of tears and femininity against black women and that&apos;s what Huda was doing. The term applies to her and other non black identities even if they are not white. It&apos;s just the name, not an attempt to erase her identity or oppression.<br><br>Despite also facing oppresion as a middle eastern woman, audiences see Huda&apos;s lighter complexion (therefore closer proximity to whiteness) in comparison to Black women as a reason to protect her. Focusing on whether or not Huda is white (when I clearly stated she isn&apos;t in the video) distracts from the reality that she weaponizes her tears because of the way she is perceived compared to Black women whether she is white or not. <br><br>I don&apos;t appreciate the watering down of the issue to it &quot;simply being about hating pretty black women&quot; and discrediting language you don&apos;t understand. It is very dismissive of the complexities of anti-blackness.

  huda is perfect representation of &quot;i support women&apos;s wrongs and rights&quot; gone too far. the mistreatment of chelley and olandria online is SOOOO uncalled for.

  It’s honestly terrifying how deep the cognitive dissonance runs when some of our people refuse to acknowledge clear racial discrimination especially when it affects ALL OF US! And what’s more infuriating is that melanted women often bear the brunt of it simply for existing and trying to live as human being

  I’m not black so I don’t want to recklessly equate my experience with Chelly and Odalia but I at the very least know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of crocodile tears. Where certain traits and behaviours are seen as more “feminine” and feminine women are more infantilized and seen as trust worthy, it’s hard to prove your victimhood against these biases. I feel for them and the hate they’re getting is so blatantly extreme and fully misogynoir

  Unfortunately the &quot;ADULT&quot; black people who think the Chelley and Olandria&apos;s hate is not about race and also actively support Huda&apos;s toxic behavior towards all the black cast members (including Jeremiah and Chris) are just as toxic as she is and they feel uncomfortable seeing someone being called out for the exact &nbsp;behavior they would have portrayed if they were in her shoes.

  I am not even black and to me it was obvious how racist Huda was throughout the show. I wondered why she felt the need to use the word “brother” every single time she was annoyed and referring specifically to a black man. The blaccent she kept using, and the aave.. why did no one clock her for that? Crying when black women hold her accountable for the terrible things she would do, and yet she bullied every girl that looked in Jeremiah’s way and no one had ANYTHING to say about that. It’s alarming.

  Huda had one sided competition with Chelley and everyone either actively ignored it or tried to make it seem like it was Chelley who was the problem.<br>That’s all because people cannot comprehend the idea of a black woman being confident in her desirability and her options.<br>This weird narrative of black women being deemed ‘undesirable’ and ‘unloveable’ has shaped an entire generations view of how black women should navigate the world in a jaded and self loathing way and when we don’t, they lose their fucking minds.
