  This is certainly among the best responses I have seen to the SSPX’s objections, because it does not seek to have people bury their heads in the sand and act as if nothing  is wrong with Vatican 2, but acknowledges there are legitimate issues.

  Please do the deep dive into their arguments Joe (you asked us to let you know in the comments). These have been very helpful and can also help us gently correct the record when "outsiders" bring these things up as knocks against the church and they often just overlay their own objections onto these schisms...so this can help us help them❤

  There needs to a third Vatican council. Just as Constantinople I was called to further clarify Nicaea I and condemn Arianism, Vatican II needs that further clarification and offical condemnation of errors that have arisen in the post concilior environment

  Thank you for doing this Joe, I have been wrestling with these questions for the past few months leading up to the SSPX consecrations. My family and I have been going to an FSSP parish and we love the TLM. It’s difficult to navigate all of the mess in the Church right now and maintaining peace and charity. I appreciate the clarity. Looking forward to the next video!

  I always find that when it comes to the wild Vatican II misinterpretations that are brought up, the conversation ends quickly with the simple question: "Have you read the documents?" ... which is repeated a few times to the rejoinder of, "No, but..."

  Thank you so much for this video Joe. I think the lack of ample responses to the SSPX objections on certain matters, especially religious liberty, is one of the greatest blind spots in the apologetics community atm, and we need more people covering them.

  Fantastic video. It is vital to go to the core of the SSPX's resistance to both the Council and to the Pope. These theological hangups need to be highlighted and dealt with with charity, context, and clarity. Joe does a good job here in this regard and I am looking forward to the next video.

  We’ve been wanting a face to face debate for years now. The closest thing we got was the Conor Gallagher show where Fr. Loop of the SSPX, and Fr. Gerald Murray met separately with the interviewer and answered a series of questions. But they didn’t talk to EACH OTHER. <br><br>When are we gonna quit this mulberry bush game and have some like Fr. Palko actually talk to Joe…or something of that nature???
