  Kawhi so underrated. Watched the whole clippers season last year and although it wasnt a one man carry, Kawhi carried the clippers so hard it made Harden actually look elite

  Kawhi is a complete basketball player. Doesn't really turn ball over and is so efficient and score at all 3 levels so well. That's why he's been my favorite player since 2017

  Very solid video. Though we&apos;ve seen some of this information about the Kawhi fit from you already, or heard it on the podcast, this is an excellent (and more complete) look into what Kawhi can do for the Raptors. As always great insights and excellent narration.<br><br>As you say, the biggest differences are being a more efficient scorer and a much stronger defender. Going from a top 50-ish player to a top 10 player is a big difference. Ideally they had both Ingram and Kawhi on the roster, as Ingram was still one of their better catch and shoot 3 point shooters, which was always respected by defeenses, losing out on that little bit of extra spacing is going to be tough, unless we see another move or big improvements for their current roster.<br><br>What they do need is a bit more playmaking, especially at a higher level. I like Shead and Quickley is fine, as is Barnes, but none of them are the elite creation that would help have a better half-court offense, which is going to be important in the playoffs eventually. Even Kawhi himself, while good playing out of his own gravity, isn&apos;t a massive playmaking factor. Most plays with him having the ball in his hand end (as they should) with a shot at the basket, not a pass.<br><br>One player I&apos;m expecting improvements from is Ja&apos;Kobe Walter. He already showed potential of being a reliable threepointshooter and a high level guard defender. He was trusted by Darko with important minutes and assignments and became a reliable two-way option off the bench and also started 19 games for them.<br>If there is anything this roster needs, it is more shooting and with losing Ingram and Mamu and the only really good threepoint shooting coming from Kawhi and perhaps Quickley orJamison Battle, they&apos;re going to need players like Walter to step up and take a more important role in that.
