Hi Marco. I am a 62-year-old who has been playing since I was a teenager. I have always played in standard tuning with a pick. I have been playing around with open G for a couple of weeks now. Your video really seemed to bring everything together. The light bulb finally brightened! You even made fingerstyle more understandable and accessible to me. You have a true gift for teaching. This is very well explained Marco, adding tonal colours down the fretboard. It makes a difference from the fairly standard ‘this is what Keith Richard plays’ tute. Well done and thank you. Have a popper 🎉

You can also play your standard tuning chords on the b, g, d strings as triads
