One of the most tragic aspects of Vons story for me is the fact that with his dedication and work ethic(waking up at 7 am to slide on the opps) he likely would have been successful at anything he decided to do. Right or wrong, He walked it like he talked it. He knew exactly who he was. RIP to all them young men dealt the shittiest of hands.
