  What about John Maynard Keynes who predicted the political consequenses of the Treaty of Versailles? And there is a nice book called the Anglo American Establishment and their special relationship! There is no way that the brothers did not know that. <br>At that time Germany could not be a partner of the USA instead of England.<br>And you forget the reason why the conflict of WW1 happened. Oil! The Berlin-Baghad railway.<br>The Ottoman empire controlled Iraq. And Germany had engineers who offered to modernize the Ottoman Empire. They were allies before the war. But they were others who could not tolerate this. Therefore the empires had to disappear.

  It’s interesting because both Paul and Max knew the WWI was coming and were supporting and organizing the financing opposing sides of a war with disastrous consequences for humanity to this day. &nbsp;Untold history surrounding events in the early 1900s leading into ww1.
