Dallas Willard’s Renovation of the Heart has truly been a guide for me, but not in a casual, quick-read kind of way. It’s like sitting down with a mentor who challenges you deeply, layer by layer. Each time I dive into his words, I find myself not just reading but truly studying—reflecting on how my heart is being shaped and reshaped by God. His teaching continues to impact my life, guiding me in the ongoing journey of transformation.

Love Gary Moon! I had so many great conversations with him during my time in the Renovare Institute for Spiritual Formation. He had a profound impact on my own formation through those discussions and his work in orchestrating that program. Thank you for bringing him on - this was a good reminder that there is hope even for me. Gary's right - so much hinges on our vision of God, His Kingdom, who we are, and what He wants to do with us. A small shift there coupled with constant redirection toward that new insight into reality and of the mind toward the always present God changes everything.

Minute 36  - Interestingly when you read the Pashitta you discover that the Aramaic word for salvation is also the word for LIFE. So when we read “salvation has come to this house today” we could equally have understood ‘more life has come’ because that’s exactly why I’m here “so that you can have life abundant”.

Truly enjoyed this. I have read several of Dallas Willard’s books (I find them challenging to get through) but worth the rigor in the end. Thx so much Jon for your continued contribution to the growth of our souls & thank you to the team for all the work you do behind the scenes to make these videos easy to consume🙏🏻

There is nothng better than great conversation - this truly was a great one. Thank you John and Gary for entering in to the beauty of knowledge that you both pass along in winsome and contagious ways - what a gift to have lifelong friends that really know us. Praying God's blessing over the good work He's doing in and through each of you. I will be sharing this conversation with several people and saving so I can go back and be refreshed and remember how very good God is.

Dallas Willard's work has been key in my inner transformation in Christlikeness. I was head first in theology and pasotral leadership and when I hit rock bottom I realized what I knew about God had little effect on my living in abundant life much less with a whole soul. That would require being known by God instead. After "coming to the end of my rope" I sought after God and He introduced me to Dallas (along with others, though Dallas was by far the most influencial) I went back to graduate school majored in clinical mental health counseling and soul care and have since launched a non-profit together with my wife that serves to help people achieve a whole soul (true to Dallas' defenition) in the body, mind, and spirit. - Forever grateful to Dallas' spiritual direction in my life. I will be going to get the biography! Thank you for your interview and dedication to helping others "become new"
