I did not make this video with the intent to harass or send hate to VivziePop. I have nothing against her as a person, but I hate her shows, I hate the fact that she's somehow successful despite the quality of her shows, and I hate the fact that her shows will never improve no matter how many negative videos get made on these shows, because there are just as many people that are somehow ok with the current state of these shows. This is part of the reason why I refuse to watch or review Hazbin Hotel season 2.

I understand that this video can come off as harsh, but there are several things that led to me expressing how I truly feel about both of these shows to this extent. I truly think that both of these shows have the potential to be good, but the baffling writing decisions and the mood swing tonal shifts make me question how anyone can like these shows in their current state. I can understand being a fan of Helluva Boss the concept, but to be a fan of Helluva Boss the final cartoon is just inconceivable to me.

Combine that with a hard decision that I had to make very recently regarding something that could've shaped my future, something that I was once optimistic and passionate about, and it makes me even more frustrated about the fact that garbage like this is praised rather than panned. I'm sorry, but a critic should always be honest about how they feel about what they're reviewing, regardless of how controversial and harsh it may be. Thank you for reading, enjoy the video, and have a Happy Halloween.

Vivzie clearly understands that adult comedy shows & serious romantic dramas use specific tropes, and because she wants her shows to do both she tries to implement both sets of tropes in her shows.

This is why we get these drastic tonal shifts because Vivizie is trying to do both and it does not work.

Vivzie knows about the tropes but she doesn't understand 'why' they work and 'why' most shows pick a lane. Either comedy or drama.

You cannot be both a raunchy adult comedy show AND a serious romantic drama at the same time.

But she does both anyway because she's an incompetent writer.

Alastor's fumbling was abysmal and I'll never forgive Vivienne for it

Honestly, I really (!)...really hope that Vivienne Midrano doesn't become the most influential and beloved figure in modern animation.
Because if these shows truly become the future of animation,i feel like the"animated apocalypse"is getting closer and closer !

I like how he talks about the 7 deadly Sins but doesn't bring up that Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel is supposed to be one of the sins himself but since that Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are 2 different shows one being on Prime and the other not on Prime which making Lucifer an Unofficial sin of Pride

Take a shot near the end every time he says 'I hate the fact that'. You'll probably regret it.

When it comes to beelzebub and her whole honey and gluttony theme, she should've been a bear with the bee wings n such.
Bears being greedy and territorial creatures would fit better than whatever animal she's supposed to be.
She could still be the party animal type who can be approachable and even motherly, but the bear build would still give you the tone not to mess with her at all.

just got assigned a bs assignment that’s gonna take me awhile so perfect timing!
i used to love this show when it first came out. i was in some sort of an emo phase and i thought it was HILARIOUS. looking back i see how badly this show was written, and how viv butchered such a great premise

Season 2 explains why Pentious is in hell.

London of 1888, Pentious saw a murder happen outside of his home. And he didn’t do anything about it. He didn’t report it or call the authorities. The murder did went on to kill more people. And Pentious kept that guilt until he died. That also explains why his sinner design has eyes. He saw a murder? But didn’t do anything.

Alastor is in hell because he was a serial killer cannibal and Angel Dust was in a mafia family. His spider design represents his family web.

The last two was more explained outside the show and more in past Vivziepop streams or interviews.
