  I feel the same way when Catwoman comes onto Dick either in the comics or any of the animated stuff. The idea of my Dad&apos;s ex-girlfriend flirting with me when in some continuities she known me since I was a kid gives me the heebie-jeebies

  Fun Fact: There is an alternate universe where Batman takes over the world and Jim Gordon evades his cameras for weeks, figures out his secret identity, tracks him down, beats the shit out of him, strips Wayne industries of all of its assets, than throws him in jail.<br><br>This is what i envision whenever i see this ship.

  Imagine the influence if they&apos;d actually ran this story arc early on in a way where she had a crush, and Batman politely turns her down, explains why this isn&apos;t going to be a thing, and they work through that in a way where they can continue to fight crime together, and she moves on appropriately. Would have given young men an example of both being able to set boundaries, and also having some conscious awareness of problematic situations to avoid.

  I actually saw The Killing Joke in a packed theater when it first came out. It was dead silent when <b>that</b> scene came up. You hear a pin drop, everyone was so collectively confused and horrified.
