  The fact that she said that she doesn't believe there's not evidence that ssris can cause suicidal or homicidal ideation in people over 24 is absolutely WILD. Every doctor ever tells you REGARDLESS of your age when starting an antidepressant that it's a possibility and to watch for symptoms and tell them immediately.

  Funny how when being questioned by reddington her whole demeanour was defensive. But as soon as the prosecutor asked her questions to validate her work, she perked up

  I was put on zoloft, trazadone, and buspirone then moved to Lexapro, seroquel, and Xanax after being in a state and just not sleeping after my kids father was killed. First set of 3 didn't bring me down at all, I got worse. I was more paranoid, slept even less, cried even more, started to hallucinate here, and became terrified to leave the house, scared my kids. The 2nd set of 3, knocked me out to where I couldn't function at all. Would knock me out for 2 days minimum. Couldn't wake up to be a mother much less work. I don't know how this woman was even walking with all the meds she was supposed to be on.

  I think it’s pretty clear that Dr Tuft was in over her head having been fresh out of residency. The bigger focus should be on how messed up our health care system in the US is. And the abundance of push from HC providers to schedule Tele health appointments ESPECIALLY for mental health services is simply unacceptable and negligent because YES, it DOES make a difference as far as the quality and thoroughness of the appointment experience for the patient AND how providers perceive affect and presentation.

  Also.... she reported concern over addiction to Ativan and was told &quot;no sweetie, it&apos;s only been two weeks so you&apos;re not &quot;addicted&quot;, you&apos;re just &quot;dependent&quot;&quot; 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So ....we didn&apos;t do anything wrong by prescribing a HIGHLY ADDICTIVE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE... BUT... since you called me out in writing... just take it every other day and I won&apos;t repeat the script. Talk about STUPIDITY, irresponsible jibberish and an attempt at CYA. Are you kidding me??! Ativan <b>IS</b> physically addicting in as short as 2 weeks! Benzos are awful and horrific to withdrawal from. And depending on the dose and HER INDIVIDUAL needs - that might not have been an appropriate plan for withdrawal and she may have needed gentler tapering. There was nothing &quot;individualized&quot; about her care. It was cookie cutter crap. She was far too complex and part of their job is to recognize when they need to refer her on to someone more equipped. All of these ppl have colleagues they can consult with. The mental health history and negligence are undeniable and impossible to disregard.
