This video contains no AI-generated content. The character illustrations come from a Victorian-era public domain book. All units, maps, ships, ect. were custom made by me. The entire video is researched, written, voiced, animated and edited by me. I hope you enjoy it!

am i the only one who as a kid and even as a young adult always thought that the representation of ancient armies in movies was exaggerated and the "clashes" were way over sized, but then was shocked learning that even in those times, on a single battle field there could be like almost 50k+ warriors all fighting to their deaths. thats like a big city worth of people at the time. thats genuinely insane how massive these events were

As a Persian regardless of this defeat, i’m proud of Artemisia. She was a great general. And she was greek.

One of the best channels. I enjoy your videos even though they are rare but feels like an occasion when it drops in the timeline. Keep it up.

The Persians dresses in this video resemble those shown in ancient artwork like the Alexander Sarcophagus and the Alexander Mosaic.
