  This game, for Link, is basically the dream you have before the alarm clock rings. Everything you wanted, the girl of your dreams, the peace and joy. All gone as you wake up.

  This game carries such a heavy meaning for me. It is my favorite Zelda game. When i started playing it, my dad was alive, when i finished it, he was no longer here. It made me understand that the moments we experience with the ones we love is all that matters. It is the only thing that matters really. Love.

  The remake ending still breaks my heart. The song is sung by Marin as she laments that she&apos;s just a dream and wishes she and him could be together, at the end she asks him to remember her even if the dream ends.<br>&quot;If someday this sweet reverie ends. We too. Our memories.For real. Fade us by. By the sea. We watch the waves crash. Hold my hand. Think of me. And I&apos;ll fly&quot;<br>And the ending it&apos;s just her smiling over him as he comes back to the real world. <br>I swear it&apos;s like &quot;Your Lie in April&quot; levels of sad.

  I always thought that Marin&apos;s wish was to become a seagull and fly away free. And that at the end, one of the seagulls that you see and hear... is Marin.

  Considering there have been many cycles of Link throughout the ages. I like to think Marin got her wish in one of them and they lived happily ever after.

  The Face Shrine theme in the remake gives me chills every time I hear it and is one of the very best pieces of music a Zelda game has ever had

  This is my favorite Zelda game. I played it at a young age and even to this day at a 43 year old man, I still tear up waking up as Link and leaving all the memorable people I met in the dream behind.

  The original gameboy face shrine soundtrack always sounded a little bit like an alarm to me, with the repeating tones and the variation in volume, as if your alarm is growing louder. It seems fitting, since you from here on realize you have to &quot;wake up&quot;. &nbsp;I kind of interpret playing the remake the same way you do, as a dream that you&apos;re having again, one of those dreams you keep having. It was so devastating to hear that same alarm again in the remake ost. The music, especially when the old gameboy sounds come in, makes me feel like the creators are comforting me after waking from a recurring nightmare, like my mom taking pity on me after I enter my parents&apos; bedroom in the middle of the night:<br><br>&apos;Ah, did you have that bad dream again?&apos;

  This is my very first exposure to Zelda when I was a kid. This game will always be special in my heart.
