Let’s point out: Steve Perry is not using in ear monitors, singing these songs completely in tune without them. Also the music is being played live, he is not singing to a pre-recorded track—you are seeing what true musical talent looks like when it existed in the 70’s and 80’s. Compared to what is put on stage now, and it is night and day.

He said "Neal," referring to Neal Schon, who formerly played with Santana, along with Greg Rolie. Both Neal and Greg joined to form Journey.

These cats did everything you hear - no computers, no backup, wrote it all, performed it all - as presented. Saw this tour 8 days before this was filmed, in Mobile, AL Halloween night, 1981.
