  Journey's " Who's Crying Now”, “Mother Father”, “Open Arms”- the most remarkable thing about Journey is that they were so good live, even better in some cases than the record. Steve Perry, one man, no autotune, no in-ear, no tricks, just a man in a stadium with a microphone surrounded by amazing musicians, simply perfection.❤️🇦🇺

  I love when ones like him know how to appreciate the arrangements and timing of the vocals with the timing of the instruments. Pure Genius. I love that he gets it.<br>The energy is so powerful, I could get my house cleaned to this song. 😅

  Check out “When you love a women”. That is another brilliant example that displays Steve Perry’s vocal power. You will love the instrumentals as well from other band members.

  &apos;Wheel In the Sky&apos; came before all these and is AMAZING! It was the first song featuring their new lead singer, Steve Perry. It was a huge hit and put them on the map. It is still my very favorite. &apos;Faithfully&apos; and &apos;Open Arms&apos; came later and are great, but they are slower ballads. You decide if you want fast or slow.

  Journey started as a jazz-type band in the 70s. In the late 70s, they hired Steve Perry as their vocalist and switched their sound, in my opinion, for the better. Their 80s songs are forever classis. My favorite Journey song is &quot;Faithfully&quot;. Steve Perry is The Voice. He has a gift of extreme natural talent.
