  It&apos;s so frustrating that people are using mental illness as a defense to murder. She wasn&apos;t in her right mind and wanted to self-exit but somehow SHE survived and her CHILDREN died instead. She was in her right mind enough to get out of the car, run to someone&apos;s home and makeup a story she thought people would believe.<br>Even if she wasn&apos;t in her right mind in the moment. She was when she was in front of cameras and asked for her sons to be returned. This is disgusting and I hope she is never released.

  The mother worried about Susan being unwed and pregnant but was completely fine to continue living with and subjecting her daughter to a predator. &nbsp;I’ve seen enough on this case to know Susan is a monster, but she had help becoming one. &nbsp;Sacrificing your children to get/keep a man seems to run in the family.

  First sentence in and I knew exactly which case you were covering. So sad and heartbreaking, I can’t believe a mother would do that to her own kids and for what? There is no “good reason” but for a man?? Wild.

  I had PPD with my 3rd child and it emotionally wrecked me. I wanted to run away some days but I couldn’t imagine my life without my kids. Not once did I ever think that harming them was the answer. May she rot in prison then burn in Hell. 😐

  i think its pretty obviously BOTH mental illness AND the effect of the letter. it was probably brought on by the grooming, depression, and being suicidal, i understand how horrible that feels, and was pushed onwards by the letter. things can be complicated this way. <br><br>that doesnt make it right. those sweet boys never ever deserved this.

  An absolute vile monster of a human who had no issue to do that to her babies and cause a racial uproar to a marginalized group. People have been killed for less and she contributed to that hate. People like these don&apos;t deserve children. Every child deserves a parent who loves them

  I can’t believe no one has mentioned La llorona! This is eerily similar to the Latin American folk story of the woman who killed her two children to be with a man who didn’t want children. She is called La Llorona because her spirit is said to wander the country crying for her children.
