  The livestreams should give us info that isn’t important to the show. World building, lore, and characters should be explained in the show, whereas dumb stuff like a character’s favorite color, zodiac, or whatever can be in the livestreams.<br>Save the important info for the show

  the show feels childish even with sex and swearing because it tries too hard, its like that small kid that tries to act cool but every word that comes out of its mouth are swears and sex jokes they googled when noone was looking

  I&apos;m so glad someone pointed out the huge problem with how Hell&apos;s Hierarchy is and how rude Charlie is treated. This is a modern trend I have noticed in stories where royal titles or other symbols of strong power are used, yet there is no adherence to what that would mean for the world. If Charlie is a princess and the third most powerful person in their world, she should be treated as such. If they wanted to keep Charlie as an underdog who no one respects, the simple fix would be to have very few citizens know her identity. Have her be so sheltered and Lucifer and Lilith so gone/hidden, that no one really knows what the Moringstars look like anymore. They would see Charlie as some random sinner with no power and dismiss her, with only powerful overlords with intel knowing and treating her accordingly. It could add a lot of interesting dynamics were people like Alaster are helpful and we are left to decide if he knows or not. It would even solve the problem of Angel trying to protect Charlie, since he wouldn&apos;t necessarily know she is untouchable and mitigate why Lucifer isn&apos;t involved more.

  Whats crazy is that the pilot had more character depth and charm than the official series. Charlie had much more personality in the pilot (she was childish but could stand her ground and had her limits).<br><br>The animation was way better too. It felt more lively.

  FOREVER will mourn that Hazbin Hotel&apos;s first season was never the episodic 20 episode season I SO wanted it to be when I first watched the pilot. It DESERVED to be a show that starts episodic and grows into something more lore heavy

  I think one of the major causes of many problems is that Vivziepop seems to think that character development is something that happens with a song. She doesn&apos;t understand that the character growth building up to the song is what gives it meaning. As a result instead of developing her characters she just gives them a song telling the audience how they&apos;ve developed.

  One of the weird things about the show is that Alastor is portrayed as &quot;the strong one&quot; archetype in the pilot, but when Vivziepop explains the hierarchy of hell in an interview, Alastor is three tiers lower than Charlie herself. This detracts from any tension or &quot;threat&quot; that Alastor poses, and it makes it confusing as to why Charlie even needs Alastor&apos;s services. I think this is an instance where the lore and cosmology of the setting undercuts the story itself.

  I think the reason why sinners may use fake names/nicknames/titles instead of their real ones is because according to popular believes, knowing a demon&apos;s real name gives you power over them, which is why Angel&apos;s contract was signed with his real name

  The Extermination retcon is one of the worst things to do, as it negates Charlies whole reason for the Hotel. If the Extermination only happens to keep Hell from revolution, then the whole &apos;maybe we can redeem&apos; makes no sense. CHARLIE KNOWS THEY DON&apos;T CARE ABOUT THAT.

  I&apos;d like Charlie alot more if she was younger, because her personality and the way she is treated by those around her is <b>very</b> infantilising. Vaggie literally cradles and carries Charlie like she&apos;s a child.<br><br>Charlie&apos;s like 200 but acts like she&apos;s 16.<br><br>It would make her behaviour much less grating if she acted her age. It would also explain her apprehension and passivity if she was younger, as well as make her stepping up all the more impactful.
