I was wrong about Orchids.

You’ve mostly been listing species which are typically harder than intergeneric complex hybrids. Most local grocery store phals are going to be the easiest, not species which are typically only found online anyway or from private collectors. I have or have grown every orchid you’ve listed, and I can personally guarantee the jiaho’s pink girl is going to be the easiest.

Beautifully done! I was so surprised that you didn't mention the fragrance for so many of your choices. That one of the features I'm looking for most these days.

The sweet memory liodoro is a typical garden center phalaenopsis. Just to let you know Kaylee... a lot of online orchid shops are managed by more of an older generation, so their products are shared less on social media and the websites for many shops seem outdated compared to many aroid sellers'. So if you really want to find an orchid but the webshops are out of stock, you'll probably find it at orchid shows and fairs bc if a seller only has one or two of that same orchid they'll not bother to post it on the webshop and just take it to their next orchid fair instead... keep an eye out for orchids at the next Mybotanika in Hamm and maybe consider visiting Dresden for the "Dresdener Ostern Nacht der Orchideen"

The schillariana is actually fragrant too! It's smells like a nice flower perfume, and depending on a few things, it can be really strong to the point of filling a whole room with the smell.

The Phalaenopsis Bronze Maiden are sold here (in Australia) as just "Phalaenopsis Schillmann silver" if that helps your search ☺️ happy hunting! Great plant spotlight as always. ✨🖤

I've been collecting orchids for 3 years. My favorite phalaenopsis are the Polychilos subspecies.

Paphiopedillum would be a great orchid genus to explore in another video! They're terrestrial which a lot of people find easier to grow, but the foliage and flowers look more like epiphytic orchids than jewel orchids. There's also a lot of mottling and silver in the foliage of this genus!

Orchids are offered by shops seasonally according to what's in bloom... so cymbidium usually end of the year and some like the dusty bell u showed are offered by garden centers during end of year to spring... all are schilleriana hybrids btw and beautifully scented

I’ve had orchids on and off for 40+ years. Many are great windowsill plants. I’d love to see you show more. BYW, check out paphiopedilum (slipper orchid) foliage.
