  Finally, someone is talking about the shit these Indian airlines spend crores to hide. All information is absolutely correct. The only incorrect thing was the pay of pilots mentioned in India. It is 50% less than what was mentioned post-tax.

  Good report, excellent research. This is from a Pilot who has 38 years of aviation experience. I left flying 5 years before retirement as India and Airlines specially the low cost airline, they treat pilot's as Ola and Uber drivers. People are slowly moving to the middle east. 6 months notice period only in India. Nowhere else in the world does this.

  Almost all Indian pilots want to leave and join them, but there are not enough vacancies. It’s all because of the low salaries in India and high salaries abroad. Plus they take care of your families. FYI

  I'm a senior capt with an airline. This "15 lakh" pay is absolutely not true. The pay realistically is only 4-8 lakhs in hand and the average is only 4.5 lakhs in hand per month, and this I'm talking of senior captains!

  The worst part is 6 months notice period , no airline would wait for 6 months to hire a pilot .

  Correction: Layover allowance was increased 50% but it's not 3000 per hours. Its per layover for captains and 1500 for FO's
