  Megatron&apos;s plans make more sense when you realize that the Megatron, the Fallen, and Sentinel all hate each other and can only begrudgingly work together. Megatron doesn&apos;t want to revive Sentinel because he hates him and because there is no way he would work with the Fallen (especially since the Fallen wouldn&apos;t want a Prime near him)<br><br>So Megatron goes for the cube because getting it means he can usurp the Fallen and be the top dog. When that fails he goes back to serving the Fallen as a backup because he has no other options. He has to pretend to be subservient because that&apos;s the only way he can survive, and his &quot;no&quot; isn&apos;t grief, but more of an &quot;oh shit Optimus is insane&quot;<br><br>When the Fallen dies he finally goes for Sentinel since he and the Fallen won&apos;t be at each other&apos;s throats, and because without Sentinel Megatron stands no chance. But Sentinel turns out to suck even harder than previously thought, so killing Sentinel and trying to negotiate with Optimus is the best option, except for the fact that Optimus is a war criminal<br><br>From the fourth movie onwards, Megatron is just pissed at the planet and isn&apos;t thinking logically. When it&apos;s revealed that Earth is Unicron, that basically confirms that Earth is actually cursed

  I heard a theory that while Megatron was frozen in Sector Seven he was fully aware. He was aware to hear them calling him MBE-1, to feel every experiment, to learn their language, and all while he can’t do anything, trapped for all time.
