After 20,000 km... is the Lada Niva still worth it?

  Greetings, fellow Lada Niva owner. Have been driving a 2016 Lada 4×4 (previous nameplate of Niva, used up to 2019) since I got le permis de conduire. All the drawbacks of this vehicle fade away because it gives you an oppurtunity to drive wherever you want and a feeling of an adventure. Wish you enjoy your off-road experience!

  У нас в России Ниву называют - конструктор для мальчиков старше 30 лет!)) Это наверное самая любимая игрушка для мальчиков и не только, в гараже каждого водителя!) Ниву у нас любят все! Даже если у вас есть уже Лэнд Круизер или БМВ... Нива это как любимый мишка из детства с которым ложишься спать!)) Он может быть потрепанным и без глаза, но он все равно любимый!) Приятно видеть что и за пределами России нашу Ниву любят не меньше!) Спасибо за видео и привет вам с берегов Байкала!👋😊👍

  Its a pitty that this car costs so much in Europe, it really shouldn&apos;t, but overall its a great car for a tasks its made for. Country roads, simple repair, offroader building.

  In Russia - NIVA is a kind of the rule of good manners (mostly for men): everybody wants one. If you are 30+ then NIVA is the second or the third car in the family

  For current leak it is very easy to find out what is fault. Put ampere meter (instrument) or current clamp for DC to measure current when the car engine is off and ignition key removed. Make sure no lights or other devices are running (like interior light for example). Now start removing fuses and I would suggest all the accessories fuses first. After you remove each fuse watch instrument current value. When you see 0 amperes then you found which circuit is drawing you electricity. After that just follow that circuit to find the culprit .   100th comment 🎉<br>In my opinion it&apos;s car of very many merits &amp; almost has a pop culture status. But its let down by rediculous technical issues and the fact it&apos;s so prone to corrosion/rust, by today&apos;s standards is unsatisfactory. That said &nbsp;the Niva is still great looking car especially considering it was designed in 1977. 👍
