Nene worked hard for her family, driven by her love of playing guitar, and didn't have time to play with dolls as a child.

I don't like when people said she's natural-born or gifted to be what she is now. All her talents are from passion, years of practice, hard working and support from her family.

@NatiRD01 This brought a tear to my eye because it reminded me exactly why that emotional release, and the hugs from her mum and dad at the end of Black Hole Sun, meant so much.

Now look at her here, out on the beach with that little box with “TIPS” written on it, beginning to open the portal for all those skills from the rock heavens inside her to come out.

And who is there? Her dad. Every night. Every single time. Everywhere she goes, Dad goes. He even gave up his cycling career because he saw the enormous potential in the gift that was his daughter.

My take is that she is a rock phenom, sent from the gods of rock and roll heaven to bring some hope back into this nasty, plastic, fake world we now live in. But that does not mean her God given gift came without work. She has practised and practised and practised.

You can see it everywhere. Busking on the beach. Busking at the markets. Playing with a band. Playing by herself. Performing in restaurants, talent shows, anywhere and everywhere she could improve herself. I even read that she entered a competition to win an air conditioner so she could put it in her rehearsal room and practise longer and more comfortably.

But the innate gift was there from the beginning. Look at her during that solo. Look at the foot tapping. Look at the head starting to move. Listen to the intonation, the tone and what she is already doing with her voice.

Everything we now see at this incredible level was already there in its earliest form. What had to change was her physical development, her coordination, her hands, her limbs and her ability to fully express what was already inside her.

And we still have not seen anything yet. Her potential is limitless.

Bless you for sharing this. This is not just music. There is something more to this whole journey we are all watching unfold. ❤️🇹🇭🌍🎸🔥🤘

This video really shows that she has been a fighter since she was a little kid. She is still in her school uniform and that guitar looks so heavy for her size, yet her powerful voice resonates everywhere. Those busking days truly shaped her into the incredible artist she is today.
