This film just made my heart sing. It captured so perfectly what a meaningful life involves. Our protagonist, George Bailey, lives the values of family, community and goodness.

It was the most charming film I have ever had the pleasure of watching, truly.

The film is an invitation to each one of us to reassess our lives and remember our own light.

Emulating George’s appreciation for life, what is wonderful about your own life that you’re grateful for?

Thank you so much for reacting to this fabulous movie today! My wife passed away in April, and I was dreading this day alone, but Christmas Date with Kate has been a treat. Thank you again, dear Kate!

I'll never not point out how incredible Stewart's performance during the scene where he prays in the bar is. There's a realism that he brought with pretty much every performance I've seen of his, but in that scene in particular, he took his experiences during WWII and delivered one of the finest, most emotionally penetrating acting clinics I've ever seen.

This was Stewart's first movie after he returned from war service. He flew a B-24 Liberator in 20 combat missions over Europe.

The scene where Mary confesses her wish always gets me. There’s just something so vulnerable and innocent in that moment.

A funny thing about this movie is that the more you see it the more you come to love it. All of the actors in this movie were excellent.
