  How about making a video about how engineers intentionally build problems into a vehicle to make it break at certain intervals. Or how they intentionally build parts to be difficult to repair. As a mechanic myself I know this to be obvious by watching the designs of newer vehicles and comparing it to older designs.

  Four years ago I was looking for a replacement for my rusted out 200k mile Subaru Outback. I looked around and decided on a used Toyota RAV-4 Hybrid. I had heard enough about newer Fords that I did not even consider one. The RAV-4 has been absolutely reliable and provides very economical fuel use. My only problem with the car is the annoyingly difficult to use dashboard switch layout. The switches you need like windshield defroster are unlit and nearly unreachable when belted in. The steering wheel heater, really nice in winter, cannot be seen or reached behind the steering wheel. Considering this is what every customer sees every drive they should have a human factors and control layout specialist redesign the dashboard. <br><br>The control layout on our 2010 Chevrolet Corvette C-6 was an excellent design and easy to use. My wife and I drove our over 60,000 miles including three cross country trips. Awesome car. I sold it after she passed away from cancer. it was too lonely without my navigator.

  That&apos;s interesting. Ford and GM were so dominant in Japan and built RHD vehicles and didn&apos;t muscle Japan into driving in the RH lane.
