Thank you for resurrecting the old guy back to a running and driving engine. These are the backbone of history and cannot be left to die

i think it would be lovely to restore the old workshop and the line to it in order to use it for working on the locomotives and to preserve the history of the railwway.

I remember reading about this in one of your books. So surreal to finally see the real thing all these years later.

Might do with a running engine chimney extension. And …. that shed needs to be reconnected to the running line ;-P

There’s something quintessentially British about a man on his knees on a wagon which looks like its made of old packing crates disappearing into the woods backwards being driven by what looks like a child’s large toy while explaining how awesome this is! Love it. ❤

Hi Chris! My dad, Neil, worked on Gerald’s farm for years. He’s always telling me stories about him and his farm and railway. It’s great to see his engines being fired back up and running. Your Peter’s Railway book series was my favorite as a kid. I would flip through the page’s endlessly looking at all the pictures. I need to get the full updated collection at some point!
